Much like my Top 5 Birding list, I also have some animals I would really love to find and photograph this year. This first animal I want to try and find, is a coyote. It feels like it should be an animal that’s relatively ”easy” to get a photo of. There are a lot around and I hope if I can get in the right area and get really lucky, I’ll find one.

The next animal I would love to find and photograph is a moose. I know I’ll have to do some traveling up north or to some national parks to find one, but that is definitely something I’m willing to do. While I’m in one of those national parks I might even be lucky enough to find a coyote at the same time!

Third on my list is wild horses. Or just horses in general. I would love to visit Theodore Roosevelt national park and photograph the herd that resides there. Horses are so beautiful and seeing them wild would be unlike anything else !

Next up is a mountain goat. I’ve been out to the Black Hills in South Dakota twice now, and only saw one once. I was unable to get out and take a photo and it left me so incredibly bummed out. But I refuse to give up on that special photo and so the goats stay on my list.

Fifth and final animal is going to be a tiger. Obviously I’m not going to find a tiger in the wild and will need to go to a zoo, which I’m totally fine with. Tigers are so regal and stunning and I think it would be a lot of fun to photograph one wild or not.

And for the Honorable mention from Josh, he would like for me to photograph an alligator ! I think if we made a little trip to the Florida Everglades national park we have a pretty good chance of finding one.
