Unfortunately I did not keep track of my feeder for the whole month of December. And while I did have some great activity in the beginning of the month, there was a distinct lack of birds near the end. I suspect that a hawk caught and ate a meal at the feeder and thus has scared most of the birds away for the time being. I did get a new species however, the Common Grackle. I’ve never had grackle show up in the winter so it was kind of fun to see a few of them for a couple of days.
