When I first started with photography, my main focus was definitely birds and other animals. I never really considered insects or spiders, and I’ve found I really enjoy finding them and they make such great subjects. This post of course will be focusing on Dragonflies. I found a surprising amount of different types this summer, of so many different colors and sizes. I tried my best to identify each species according to the internet, so hopefully they’re all correct.
*I’ll be including some bonus Damselflies as well, as they are closely related.

White-faced Meadowhawk, Ruddy Darter
