Nemesis bird is a term photographers like to use to describe a bird or animal they have trouble photographing or even finding. For me my number one nemesis is the Ring-necked Pheasant, specifically the roosters. They are so incredibly easy to spook and hard to approach. I do have some photos I’ve taken that I do like, but they are heavily edited to look a little more crisp and clear. I‘m still looking to take the “perfect” photo of one of these beautiful roosters, and until then he will remain my nemesis!
